Principal Attorney

Christopher Matthew McShane is the principal attorney at Property Damage Solutions, a Florida law firm with offices in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties helping property owners in south Florida with their insurance claims.

Mr. McShane earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a varsity tennis player and scholar athlete. He then earned his law degree in 1999 from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, where he served as Associate Editor of the school’s Law Review.

Mr. McShane originally practiced with the law firm of Boyd & Jenerette in Jacksonville before moving to south Florida in 2000, where he practiced for many years representing employers, insurance companies, third party administrators, self-insureds and corporations. This experience gave Mr. McShane a thorough understanding of the insurance claims process and inspired him to establish Property Damage Solutions as a means of helping residential and commercial property owners in south Florida with their property damage insurance claims.

Mr. McShane is licensed to practice law in all Florida state courts and is a member of The Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association. Mr. McShane stays active in the Fort Lauderdale legal community, attending and conducting legal education courses and seminars. Since 2004, he has also taught legal courses as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University.
